What we're about

“If a thing is worth doing, it is worth doing badly.”
- G.K. Chesterton

This group is for people who are interested in reading through and having discussions on books recommended by Professor Jordan Peterson. At first, there's a good chance we might do this badly. But that's okay! This group isn't just for erudite intellectuals, but for anyone who wants to be slightly better tomorrow than they are today. The goal of this group is to try to help men and women learn to become their ideal across all levels of being, including personal, family, community, and the world, in the short-term, medium-term, and long-term. Set yourself and your family in perfect order before you try to change the world. The book list includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Brave New World – Aldous Huxley
1984 – George Orwell
Road To Wigan Pier – George Orwell
Crime And Punishment – Fyodor Dostoevsky
Demons – Fyodor Dostoevsky
Beyond Good And Evil – Friedrich Nietzsche
Ordinary Men – Christopher Browning
The Painted Bird – Jerzy Kosinski
The Rape of Nanking – Iris Chang
Gulag Archipelago (Vol. 1, Vol. 2, & Vol. 3) – Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
Man’s Search for Meaning – Viktor Frankl
Modern Man in Search of A Soul – Carl Jung
Maps Of Meaning: The Architecture of Belief – Jordan B. Peterson
A History of Religious Ideas (Vol. 1, Vol. 2, Vol. 3) – Mircea Eliade
