“Wassa Wassa!” Lake Forest College’s West African Drumming Ensemble
Diamana Diya means “Make good music for the land!” which is what this dynamic percussion ensemble does! The group is made up of American Women who have studied traditional music and songs from Guinea, West Africa.
This is not a drum circle but a great night of fundraising and music.
