What distribution do you use?

Moved from Ubuntu to Fedora when the Unity mess was imposed (June 2011). Then I discovered XMonad and preferred it to even the venerable old GNOME2. I moved back to Ubuntu because I don't mind sacrificing having an up to date kernel for the stability of Ubuntu + XMonad embedded in the GNOME window manager, shell banished. Anaconda really sucks and it's just so convenient to click 'Update' in Ubuntu: I really didn't need to be playing games with Linux this year (Matric is busy)

Vi or Emacs?

Primarily Vim but actually agnostic because I use org mode a lot.

How long have you been using Linux?

4 years

What do you like most about the open source community?

The software it produces is awesome. And if something breaks I can fix it.

What do you hate most about the open source community?

Poorly designed UI and documentation. Especially out-of-date documentation. Try finding the documentation for Amarok scripting.

Introduction

Have been using Linux since 2008. I absolutely love the customisability and it has been my primary OS for the last 4 years. I also enjoy the technical aspect of being able to look under the hood. FOSS Unix. And I can have Xmonad. Enough said.
