Lecture, Dream Tending, with Stephen Aizenstat PhD
Dream Tending Lecture: Dream Tending is a method of working with dreams that considers dream images as "living images," alive, full of innate intelligence. By listening deeply to the dream images, the dramer can awaken the "imaginal mind" of the psyche. By "tending" the images, the dreamer is inspired to open to the depths of his/her deepest truth. Dr. Stephen Aizenstat is the Chancellor of Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, California, a practicing clinical psychologist, a marriage and family therapist, and the creator of Dream Tending. For more than 35 years, he has explored the healing capacity of dreams and conducted hundreds of dreamwork seminars and workshops around the world, collaborating with many notable masters in the field, including Joseph Campbell, James Hillman, Marion Woodman, and Robert Johnson. Parking will be at a premium for this evening event. Do not park on Elliott Road. Someone will be in the parking lot if you need instructions for off-site parking. Cost: $10 for members of the C. G. Jung Society $15 for non-members, $5 for students with ID

What we're about

Public Group

This Meetup group is to connect you with the events sponsored by The C.G. Jung Society of the Triangle. The best ways that we've found to connect with others are:

Attend the Friday lectures - arrive at 7:00PM to mingle. Most of the gathering happens before these events, as the lectures typically run from 7:30PM - 9PM plus Q&A. Please introduce yourself, don't be shy!

Attend the Saturday workshops and bring (or pickup) a brown-bag lunch, then spend the lunch hour talking with other attendees. As you can imagine, this bunch of people has some interesting discussions when they get together.

Consider an annual membership (September - July) to the C.G. Jung Society to attend member-only events. The workshop fees are discounted, but more importantly, you'll be invited to member-only events that provide for a deeper connection. At a minimum, we hold a Winter Solstice party every December, and a Jung Birthday party every July. Here's our membership link:

Thank you!
