Starting from Swanage banjo pier we will meet at 18.45pm under the clock . Here you will receive a head torch and a briefing on the evenings walk. The plan of the evening will be to head along the beach with high tide at 10.30pm giving us plenty of time to walk along the beach and explore the cliffs down to the edge of Ballards down. From here will we head into a secret walk heading up the cliff to the top of Ballards down and along to old harry's. Once you have had time to take in the dark sights we can head back down into swanage arriving around 9.30pm. Booking via https://www.h2oadventures.co.uk/product-page/evening-walks-in-dorset. With fireworks night we wil get to witness all the flashes and bangs from the top of old harry rocks. This walk takes you up some steep hills which have been accomplished by everyone who has attended. If you need walking poles please bring them with you. You will learn all about night navigation along the way. Once in Swanage we can head to a local bar for celebration drinks and plan your next adventure . You will need to bring suitable footwear and clothing for the conditions and walking sticks if you need them. I will provide a guide (me) and head torches for those who don't have one. Join us for our last epic adventure in 2019. What better way to finish an amazing years sea kayaking than to head to Angelsey. Anglesey is an island in Wales, off the mainland's northwest coast. It's known for its beaches and ancient sites. The island is accessed by the 19th-century Menai Suspension Bridge. The cost of this trip is £210pp you can confirm your place with a £50 deposit then the remainder being paid on the last weekend in october . Payment details will be sent on confirming your place. This trip is for both beginners and intermediates that have previous experience using kayaks/ sea kayaks . If your unsure please get in touch. I have been to Angelsey sea kayaking and was blown away by the rugged coastline. It has a maze of caves carved out through time for you to explore . Seals around every corner who come and play with you in the water , Dolphins and a huge array of sea birds in which you can get close encounters with. Checkout angelsey online and you will be amazed at the views . With so many launch sites including . Rhoscolyn, church bay , cemeas bay, trearddur bay the menai straights and many more. Theres always somewhere to sea kayak whatever the weather. Your adventure will include sea kayak hire and all equipment needed helmets paddles and a dry bag , slash cages are provided but you will need your own wersuit/drysuit . Please get in contact if you cant source one. Transport from our bunk house to the launch point will be provided on both days . Our bunk house sleeps 6 with a v nice lounge area , bathroom and hot shower , kitchen with oven microwave to cook your evening meals and breakfasts. This trip is self catering and we will head out for our evening meals for those that want to join us. We will meet at our bunkhouse friday evening from 6pm onwards details on booking . Both sea kayaking locations will be decided the night before based on weather conditions where you will be transported to each day. What better way to meet like minded people and to experiences to of Dorset's pleasures. Walking and a pastie in the Square and compass afterwards. I'm planning a 6.5k walk along the south coastal path from Worth matravers down to Winspit then head along the coastal path to St aldhelms head and its 12th century church. Then looping back to the Square and compass for a drink and a pastie. Cost of the walk £6.50 booking via h2oadventures.co.uk This walk will require a reasonable level of fitness due to the hilly nature of the south coastal path. This walk will also be at night I will supply head torches for the group and bring maps for the walk . You will need to bring suitable clothing for the conditions and walking boots . This walk is amazing on a clear night giving us the perfect view for star gazing and looking at all the constellations in the night sky above. . The plan is to meet at the car park behind the Square and compass for 6pm ready to head out after a briefing and everyone is happy with the walk ahead. Please bring any medication you will need and make me aware of any issues before the walk.. Thois walk will be limited to 10 people so please confirm your place early so not to avoid disappointment. The Bankes arms in Studland is the perfect meeting point for all your coastal walks and a great place to finish for a drink and a bite to eat. £8pp This walk will see us head out onto studland beach and walk along to the Studland ferry and then navigate our way back to the Bakers arms. This walk is a little flatter and covers the Studland and godlingston nature reserve. Distance covered 11km 2.5 hours walking . You will need to dress for the conditions with a drink and walking boots/Suitable footwear for the conditions. Head torches are supplied by Armchair to Adventures along with maps and compasses. Please arrive at the car park around 6.45pm to go through a briefing and sort out torches etc. Parking available at the Bankes arms via a payment meter. National trust members are free to park.
