What neighborhood of NYC do you (or would you like to) keep chickens in?

No answer yet

Where do you keep chickens or where do you plan to keep chickens? For example: in a community garden, an urban farm, a school garden, a backyard, etc.

Our farm had two old and dilapidated coop on it when we bought it in 2002. Being a city kid I knew very little about chickens and made may mistakes including buying 25 chicks at a livestock auction that grew to be 25 roosters.

Do you keep chickens now or would you like to start keeping chickens? Please explain your chicken situation!

Perfect Christmas Tree Farm grows 42 kinds of conifer. Our Earth Day Celebration, on Sat. Apr. 23, includes continuous showings of the movies "Mad City Chickens" and "FLOW". New Yorkers, please come. We are just 60 miles from the city.

Introduction

I am a native of NYC, transplanted in NJ. I live, with my husband on our 45 acre Christmas tree farm in Warren County.
