The 21st anniversary of the "Korean DANO Spring Festival" will take place on June 6th and 7th, 2014 at Christie Pits Park (750 Bloor St. West) in Toronto and will feature Korean food, traditional dance and music, Korean Pop, arts & crafts, Taekwondo demonstrations, sports competitions, business booths and continuous entertainment along with a beer garden (Free Admission).

The Korea Town BIA, The Korea Times Daily and All TV have successfully co-organized the Festival for 20 years. With the generous support of major corporations, local businesses, non-profit organizations, performers and dedicated volunteers, this festival has become the largest Korean community event in Canada and is a favorite annual family festival in Toronto attracting over 200,000 spectators since 1993.

We are at a restaurant nearby (in Korean Town) right now:
    Buk Chang Don Restaurant
    691 Bloor St.
[masked] (if you cannot find the restaurant)

We will go back to the park near the stage again around 7pm or so.

    Welcome to join us!

  • Peace

Meeting spot: near the "stage" (right-hand side if you face it, not too close to the stage)

(My mobile number is provided in another comment.)

FYI: I expect to gather around 30 people between 3:30-4 pm, and 50+ people after 4pm. As we are a big group, I assume that most members can spot us. Call/text me if you arrive early.

Occasionally, I may raise a paper sign "Festival Meetup". Ask for Chris (Meetup).
