To get into engineering school I wrote a heartfelt and sanctimonious essay (as only a 17 year old can do) on how technology is the best and only permanent way to alter society for the better. Was I right?

This building things racket has done pretty well for our species up till now.. Is that about to change? Can we build ourselves out of work? Is a better thinking machine destined to be our last invention?

Join us for an animated (animatronic?) conversation and some mechanically grown, harvested, and processed products of various kinds.

Somehow this meetup was scheduled for a Thursday instead of the usual Tuesday meetup. I hope you can all still make it on the 25'th. I look forward to it!
