The Hive and Grove is beyond thrilled to be hosting this very special event with guests from a triune of countries. From Canada, we welcome Betty Jane Ware, Seer, Psychic, Intuitive Reader, and Witch. From America, we welcome Jhenah Telyndru, founder and Morgen of the Sisterhood of Avalon and creator of The Avalonian Oracle (illustrated by Emily Brunner). From the U.K., we welcome Geraldine Beskin, owner of Atlantis Bookshop (London, UK) and wonderful scholar of all things Occult!

11 - 12:30: Elements of Transformation (Jhenah Telyndru)
1 - 2:30: Ethics of Spellcrafting (Betty Jane Ware)
3 - 4:30: Women of the Golden Dawn 1888 - 1988 (Geraldine Beskin):

In 1888, when the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn was founded, it was a bold decision. Anyone working ritual magic was unheard of then and men and women working as equals in any sphere of life was just not done in polite society. However, the women soon showed their worth and they gave structure and elegance to what has become a workable, complex, system. Aside from magic, they were interesting, artistic and devoted to their passions and lived, laughed and loved as we do - which was rare decades ago!

11 - 12:30: Introduction to The Avalonian Oracle (Jhenah Telyndru)
1 - 2:30: Samhain Mysteries: Practice and Lore (Betty Jane Ware)
3 - 4:30: Pamela Colman Smith: The Pixie Behind the Smith-Waite Deck (Geraldine Beskin):

Pamela Colman Smith created the best selling Tarot pack in the world and it has a valid place as the first 'go-to' deck people have recommended to them when they start out with the cards. Who was she? How did the cards come about? What happened then?

As well as fabulous talks, Betty Jane Ware, Jhenah Telyndru and Tiffany Lazic will be on hand for anyone who is interested in a reading. Price for readings is set by the reader.

As always with our Hive events, we will be offering treats and tidbits to nibble and a special 20% discount on anything in the shop for those attending the event.

Come to all these fantastic talks or pick and choose what strikes your fancy. Talks are $25 + hst each. Or attend the entire weekend for $125 + hst.

To register, send an email to Tiffany Lazic at [masked]. Please indicate if you are attending a single talk, a full day, or the entire weekend.
