What is Kaggle:
One of the most famous and challenging concepts within the Machine Learning community is Kaggle.com. Data Scientists, ML engineers, and developers can find huge amounts of ML related information consisting of examples and course material on this exceptional platform. But maybe one of the most interesting and appealing sections of Kaggle.com is the competitions that they host.

While it is already a lot of fun to take part in these competitions by yourself, wouldn’t it be even more fun to do so with a team or just having the opportunity to discuss your ideas with like-minded participants? At jstack we think it is! That is why we decided to organize and host a true Kaggle Night where hacking together the best performing model takes centre stage.

What to expect:
At the Kaggle Night we kick-off by presenting one of the competitions of Kaggle.com by a walk-through of the problem space, the data and an example Kernel (jupyter notebook) to get things started. During the rest of the evening, everyone gets the opportunity to team up (if you want), discuss ideas among fellow participants and hack away at your desk at the jstack office in Amsterdam. We will provide drinks and snacks during the evening while we also build our own models :-).

We've acquired some extra space to ensure everyone has got a desk. Bring your own laptop.
