Downtown Weekly Gaming Meetup!

We will begin with lighter games that are quick or easily joined. Then we can break out onto some of the tables in smaller groups if numbers and space allows. Come teach us your favorite game or learn one of ours! We should have plenty of players for a few different games and enough time to try a variety.

Outside food is welcome and the location has free popcorn and bar snacks, nuts and other items, for purchase. This is a nonsmoking establishment.

In case anybody missed it in the NY Times this morning, here's an excellent article on board gaming. http://www.nytimes.com/2014/05/06/technology/high-tech-push-has-board-games-rolling-again.html

Indeed. Before I was introduced to the "new" style of games, I thought only of monopoly, life, and risk
