February Meetup with Presentation by RareWire

Will have special guests for this Meetup.  Rarewire, a local company that provides a cloud-based native mobile app development platform, will be presenting the ease of integration between their platform and Salesforce.  Their platform has the Salesforce Mobile SDK built into it and dramatically simplifies the development of native mobile apps that are integrated with Salesforce. They will also demo a Salesforce App available on the AppExchange - a solution that allows Salesforce Administrators to create custom native mobile apps entirely through point and click development.

These two applications working together represent the start of a new frontier in mobile development.  It puts the abilities into the hands of Administrators, Developers, and primarily those that need it most.  In minutes, a Salesforce Administrator can provide Sales, Marketing, HR, Field Service Technicians, etc, their own native mobile app that's based on their permissions and their own unique work requirements.

After the presentation, we will turn this into  a casual open meeting to discuss new technologies and help each other. We can do one on one discussions, small group discussions, and just open forum.  This group is here to help each other the best we can.

Please RSVP.

I thought the presentation was good. I realize it wasn't directly about development, but I felt it was indirectly related to development because LiteWire provides adding functionality to salesforce. Which is what developers do.

Presentation went well, and covered some new Javascript libraries that can be used in Salesforce.

Rarewire will be presenting the ease of mobile development using Salesforce and their development platform that works for both Android and IOS. No more dual development for mobile apps.
