Potluck at 6:00 followed by group discussion at 6:45
We will continue to read and discuss Gates to Buddhist Practice, by Chagdud Tulku. This Tibetan master wrote the book as a “step-by-step exploration of the foundation and essence of Vajrayana Buddhism,” making traditional Tibetan Buddhist wisdom accessible to Western readers.
This book is available on line, from Amazon and other sellers. For the initial meeting, we have read the first two chapters of Part I, "Discovering the Path to Freedom".
For this upcoming meeting, our second one, we will discuss the next 3 chapters,
• Working with Anger and Aversion
• Working with Ignorance
• Daily Life as Spiritual Practice
If you have a question about an idea in the book, please note the page and paragraph, so we can address these in sequence. After the session we may submit questions to our teacher Khentrul Rinpoche for further clarification.
Newcomers are welcome. Join us for the potluck, or just come for the discussion.
