Architects of Air March 15-23

This is an amazing opportunity to shoot color and light. This huge, inflatable structure is jaw-dropping in its beauty. Tripods are allowed (with covers for any sharp edges) and low light will challenge you, but the results will be worth it. If you attend on Monday, Mar 17th and sign up for the Discovery Green newsletter, you will get half off your admission ($5) Wear layers. It gets hot inside. Pick a day that is convenient for you and get down to Discovery Green to enjoy this event.

Speed pass available here: http://shop.discoverygreen.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=1823

It was a fantastic experience. Thanks Debi for your advice on long exposure. I am uploading the pictures i took yesterday. I wished to take more although it was the closing time. But it was worth those 20 minutes inside. Please feel free to comment on the pictures what i can do to improve thanks.

Kids have lots of fun, and me too! Even though it was raining and not much of natural light this morning, it's still really good. I guess it will be better on a bright sunny day! Just uploaded 2 pictures.

Is it better to go on a sunny day to get photos? I am hoping to go, but just had eye surgery and have to see how my eye is focusing? Might have to go on different day than Saturday.

I would have to attend during the week. Too many honeydo list projects this weekend... Let me know how it goes.

Just saw a video of Architects of Air and i am really excited about being there and clicking pictures soon. However there are some questions bothering me and i dont want to be unprepared for clicking pictures realizing that my lens is not good enough or i should have been prepared in a better way. Since it would be mostly dark. Would you guyz be taking pictures with flash ? or Lenses with lower fstop ? Any suggestions will be helpful. Thanks.

LOL! If I roll around on the floor, I'll get too much shake, won't I? Or is that ok?

Keep in mind that you don't have to attend Saturday. The display will be there for a week. It is only open during the day, but it should give you time to enjoy it.
