Please answer each question. How many miles do you prefer to paddle? How many hours do you like to paddle? Can you get back into your boat unassisted, if you flip, & do you carry the gear required to do that & do you practice doing that?

I've been kayaking with a Native Manta 12 for the past three years and have about ten years kayaking experience in total. My typical "workout ride - Hard paddling" is around two hours and leisure rides for 3-4 hours.

Our paddles try to provide aerobic exercise, so you need to be able to and want to paddle 3 - 4 miles at a good clip, without taking a break. Please confirm that that is what you can do.

I am an experienced and energetic kayaker that can keep up.

Do you plan to bring a dog on our walks? You are VERY welcome to walk with us without a dog. And you can bring guests on walks (but not on paddles).

Walks are great as well and I have a fun little mutant dog that loves getting out meeting other people and dogs. He's a lab mix with miniature poodle blood that loves life.

You must read the Accident Waiver of Liability that is on the Home Page before completing your request to join this group. Have you read the Accident Waiver and Release of Liability? Do you agree to it ?

Yes I have read it and I agree to abide by the Accident Waiver terms.

If you are a "no show" twice, you will be automatically dropped from the group. You must apply as an individual. To kayak with us, you must be able to get back into your boat, if you capsize. I practice one day a year & it gets harder every year.

Introduction

Hi, I'm living in the Craigville Beach area which is where I do most of my Kayaking. I'd like to catch up with others that enjoy getting out on the water and exploring the many great Kayaking spots in the sound and/or at the Bay.
