Can you paddle 8 miles? Our paddles are usually 7 - 8 miles long. Please confirm that you are a strong paddler who has a great deal of experience kayaking. Our paddles try to provide aerobic exercise, so we paddle at a good clip and do not stop

Would be interested in 1 - 2 hour trips.

We only stop once during a paddle, at the mid-point of the paddle, so you need to be able to and want to paddle 3 - 4 miles at a good clip, without taking a break. Please confirm that that is what you can do.

I mostly row and do so considerable distances at a healthy pace so I expect paddling would not be a problem except that I do not have a kayak. I am interested in joining for walks or to share kayaks or perhaps to go on water trips where a dory would be acceptable.

Do you plan to bring a dog on our walks? You are VERY welcome to walk with us without a dog. And you can bring guests on walks (but not on paddles).

I do not have a dog.

You must read the Accident Waiver of Liability that is on the Home Page before completing your request to join this group. Have you read the Accident Waiver and Release of Liability? Do you agree to it ?

I see that all my resonses were not lost while I read the waiver which I agree to. Thanks.

If you are a "no show" twice, you will be automatically dropped from the group. You must apply as an individual. To kayak with us, you must be able to get back into your boat, if you capsize. I practice one day a year & it gets harder every year.

Introduction

I'm from the Cape, living in Dennis, but have lived several other places before moving back here about 12 years ago. I spend a lot of time outdoors, working as well as sailing, rowing or cycling.
