Kayak shopping

I've been off the water for several months due to foot injuries and an considering a new kayak. As much as I love my Impex Montauk my feet are too big for it being wedged in a V with no wiggle room. The Montauk is fairly nimble, turns easily and is easy to roll but is really designed for someone with small feet.

So I'm looking for a 16 foot (no bigger due to storage, not even a 16.5 will fit) sea kayak with a skeg that has some foot room.

I'm not looking for something to tour with and will rarely if ever carry a load in it. Fit is important. I'm 5'10", 170lbs, with size 9 feet.

I'm spoiled by the 46lb weight of my Montauk but am not totally against a poly boat.

So what have y'all paddled that you can yell me about?
