Hi everyone,

On 9/29/30 at about 5 p.m. 2 of my rental kayaks got away from the paddlers and "floated away".  I am sending this note in the hope that they will turn up somewhere and I'll get a call!  The incident occurred at New Point Comfort in Mathews County.  The tide was going out so they could show up anywhere!  I have alerted the Coast Guard to prevent a man hunt.  Thankfully noone was injured or worse, everyone was wearing their PFD.

Lost:  1 green Necky Chatam, 1 red Necky Manitou, 3 bending branch paddles w/ yellow blades, 1 Swift paddle w/ blue blades, spray skirt, camera, pump, 2 paddle floats.

If you come across any of these items while out paddling this weekend or if you hear of someone else running across them I sure would appreciate a call!
