Expect most rides to be at a brisk-ish pace, so if you're a new/beginner rider you may want to wait for an event labeled specifically as "Beginner" or "Slower Paced" before attending. That said, once the ride starts I'd rather have everyone "ride their own ride" rather than ride beyond their (or their bike's) capabilities.
Bring a safe, fully-operational motorcycle, proper licensing/registration/insurance, riding gear (boots, long pants, long sleeves, eye protection, etc.) and a positive attitude.
Motorcycling is inherently dangerous. Everyone rides at their own risk (that includes any guests or passengers you bring) and by attending an event you, your passengers, and your guests, acknowledge and affirm that you will not hold the Organizers or Hosts of this group liable for any mishap. Attendees assume all responsibility for their safety. When I'm riding I often wear an Emergency ID/Medical info type bracelet, just in case. It's engraved and then inked for durability. It was cheap on Amazon, so consider adding one to your gear. No attendees under 18 years of age. No drugs, no alcohol.
Our rides may or may not have a pre-defined route. Sometimes it's fun to wander and explore.
