Calling all Pilates enthusiasts in the Lambeth, Kennington and Vauxhall area - other areas welcome too! We are running all levels classes with the hopes to spread the word about this form of exercise. Pilates can help improve your performance if you are an athlete or actively training towards a goal.

If you have been desk bound and not overly active don't feel left out! We can also help you get moving, become more aware on your posture and tweak your alignment to feel better.

I became passionate about pilates around 6 years ago and I haven't looked back. Training to become a pilates instructor enhanced my wellbeing and sports background as I posses a BsC with Honours degree on Human Nutrition and Sports Science.

Super pilates class at Black Prince Trust

The class will start at 6.45pm at the Space. If you are running late, not to worry, just join us within a reasonable time of 10 to 15 mins max. If you cannot find us, reach out to me on my mobile, I will try to be there 15 mins before -[masked]. Should you not be able to make it, I would appreciate you letting me know, so I can get the class set up for the amount of people attending. Everybody attending will be 16 or older and you will be asked about any injuries or aches before starting the class. What to expect: If it is your first session please arrive earlier so I can go over some basic terminology and find out about you. As the course progresses we will explore and increase difficulty by bringing more complex exercises that will challenge the way in which we use the body. Overall, even if you are experience on pilates or never done it before, the aim will be to move the body, try to unwind from our busy lifestyles and most of all, have fun! What do I need to bring: We will have some mats available and different props. If you have a mat and want to bring it along, by all means you are more than welcome. Make sure that you wear comfortable clothes and during cold days, maybe bring a sweatshirt. We will do most of the exercises with socks or barefoot, so no especial shoes are required. The floor is fake grass (not the nice one but rather the artificial plastic one) so if you are ticklish or sensitive on the sole of the feet, please carry a pair of thick socks There is a changing room area, but accessible by entering a code. If anyone needs to use the changing rooms, please let me know in advance so I can ask for those details. Bring water to keep hydrated, but more importantly make sure you have your 'wifi' on to synch with your bodies.

The Foundry - Conference Space
