What we're about
Kentucky Vulcan Riders is a family oriented riding club based in the Lexington, Frankfort and Georgetown area. Although we are a brand oriented group, (Kawasaki Vulcans) we welcome riders of any brand of motorcycle, and encourage riders of other brands to check us out and ride.
We are a Chapter of the Vulcan Riders Association (Vulcan Riders USA) with over 50 chapters throughout the United States and growing. http://vulcanriders.us/ The VRA is not only a United States Association but is an International Association as well.
We meet on the first Wednesday of each month, and during riding season will usually have 4 or more rides or events scheduled each month. And of course impromptu rides are always welcomed.
Each year the VRA USA has a highly recognized Rally both on the East Coast and West Coast. This year the East Coast Rally is being held in Maggie Valley, NC with numerous chapters planning attendance.
"The Smoky Mountain Rumble",From the Great Smoky Mountains, imagine the bright, sun filled, blue sky days and cool evenings –now imagine that on a Vulcan Motorcycle –and imagine 200 of your closest friends on Vulcans coming to the 2017 Eastern VRA Rally in beautiful Maggie Valley, NC. July 18 –20, 2017.
Six different chapters of the NC-SC Carolina VRA’s have come together to make this dream come true!!
Rally central will be at the Maggie Valley Inn and Conference Center in Maggie Valley, NC. Centrally located in the heart of the Smoky Mountains, this area is bursting with scenic rides, attractions, great restaurants, and most of all is a very motorcycle friendly town.
