What we're about
Kids for Inquiry is for kids ages 7-12 who want to learn about cool science stuff! KFI uses the fantastic DIY.org website. (Although this is optional, if any family prefers not to use it.) Kids will learn about science and also engage in hands-on projects. As kids learn skills and perform experiments, they can upload photos or videos to the DIY.org website and show off their work! (And earn cool patches — from Astronomer to Zoologist — along the way.) To find out more KFI and DIY.org works, go here: http://cfiokanagan.ca/kids-for-inquiry.html
Science is all around us: It's in the lab, it's outside in nature, it's in the kitchen, it's in the playroom, it's inside your body. With KFI, kids can learn about science and kids can do science!
KFI Okanagan is supported by the Okanagan branch of the Centre for Inquiry.
This Meetup group is for Kids for Inquiry parents (not the kids themselves), as Meetup's terms require that members be at least 18 years of age.
