Details

In this free community workshop, you will learn how to create circular weavings on paper plates - a meditative, calming medium that can be as intricate or as simple as you like.

All materials are provided, plus the weavings you create during the workshop will be used to create a sculpture within The Beehive, a public artwork and free activity space which will tour Tolworth and surrounding boroughs.

This event is hosted by Annie, and led by Debbie Chessell as part of her artist residency with Shedx. Children are welcome but they must be accompanied by an adult

The only thing we ask you to bring is some yellow, orange, brown or gold textiles of some form to donate to the lining of The Beehive - this can be any kind of fabric - old clothes, old blankets, broken tents, tarpaulin, anything!
