Kirkland Eclectics Toastmaster Meeting

Mission Statement

The mission of our Toastmasters' club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.

What happens

Everything that happens in the meeting is a speech. Highlights include:

• Guests give a 15 to 60 second speech to introduce themselves to the group.

• Table topics

• Two or three prepared speeches are given

• Each of the prepared speeches are evaluated giving feed back to the speakers to help them improve

Parking

There is both free and paid parking in the Merrill Gardens parking garage. Get there 15 minutes early to get free parking. Even if you get there right on time there is likely free parking but bring $2 just in case you have to park on the lower level of the parking garage.

After meeting

We have the space at Merrill Gardens until 9:00. After the meeting some walk down the street to Rikki Rikki for drinks and fun conversation.
