To give you a little background. My husband and I love to walk and be outdoors. We have been active in walking groups in the San Francisco Bay Area for several years now. We will be moving to Port Orchard permanently in early 2018.
I am seeking like-minded, older adults (40+) who are willing to push through the challenges of having a busy life and get out there and explore. Let’s inspire each other to take breaks for both fun and overall health and wellbeing. After receiving some feedback from members, the walks will be children and pet free.
When I say breaks, I am not talking about all day events unless there is an interest. I am talking about doing 3-5 miles over an hour or two and nothing hard-core. Leisurely paced with hopefully good conversations.
Would someone be willing to co-organize with me and host walks when I can't to keep the momentum of the group going? Ideas for walk locations would be greatly appreciated.
