What we're about
This group is organized around Tiny Houses in Kitsap County and helping to make the changes to the codes and regulations related to this exciting new housing alternative. As seen on television shows and in the recent newspaper articles, tiny houses are becoming very popular as an affordable & sustainable housing choice. Presently, Tiny Houses on wheels are not allowed by code as a dwelling unit in our westsound cities and counties, nor in Washington State jurisdictions. This group will endeavor to bring together the resources to support the changes needed to allow Tiny Houses as a viable living alternative.
OUR MISSION IS TO COLLABORATIVELY WORK TOWARD PROMOTING TINY HOME PROJECTS, SUPPORT NECESSARY CODE CHANGES, AND TO ADVOCATE FOR LEGISLATION TO ALLOW TINY HOMES AS DWELLING UNITS.
