Join us the evening of Thursday July 18th for our next Quarterly at the Central Collective.
You may have heard his voice in the mornings on our local NPR station WUOT, Victor Agreda Jr is a serial entrepreneur and is on to his next endeavor. An important lesson along the way throughout his career - from running the successful The Unofficial Apple Weblog before its end, voicing several podcasts and audiobooks - has been from creating his own personal brand, an important component of the prolific developers that you may follow today. He’ll talk a little about his journey covering and participating in the tech scene and give some great tips to putting yourself out there as your genuine self. With a collection of meetups and a shared communication portal, Knoxville has a few of the components that traditional tech hubs have that make them attractive for employers and employees alike. He’ll share some thoughts about how we can raise the profile of the budding tech community here.
Come hear about his latest projects and as importantly catch up with fellow KnoxDevs irl. The conversations should be pretty entertaining.
