We will practice Open Awareness Meditation, with and without a support. Instruction will be given. It's easy. Then Prasad will offer guidance on the practice of Equanimity and Compassion. Meditation trains the mind to be calm, peaceful, clear and undistracted. As one progresses in one's meditation practice, instruction will be given relating to Wisdom and perception; perceiving things, experiences and thoughts for what they truly are, as distinct from what momentarily appears. Prasad is a Drupon (Practice Master) in The Tibetan Meditation Tradition. His presentation follows the teachings of Mingyur Rinpoche and HH The Gyalwang Drukpa, 2 of his main teachers.
