This groups offers up a variety of adventures in the Kobe area with hiking and street photography being the backbone. The two are similar in that hiking often provides great photographic opportunities whether they're landscapes, plants or animals. Street photography by its very nature usually requires a lot walking. Both activities will likely be rewarded by a visit to a pub or restaurant afterwards.
There will also be a variety of other cool adventures. These will be things that I want to do, but would be much better shared with others. And remember, an adventure doesn't have to be "a bold, usually risky undertaking; hazardous action of uncertain outcome." It can be "an exciting or unusual experience."
Everybody is welcome. I'm sorry my Japanese isn't very good. Please join and we'll explore what Kobe has to offer together!
• • • If you are visiting Kobe from out of town and there is no meet up available I can arrange a wonderful, personal hike in the Kobe mountains. However, I charge a fee for this service. • • •

It's really nice to have beer after hiking. Why don't we enjoy this delight at Kobe Sogo Beer Garden that offers a pretty good happy hour deal. You can eat and drink as much as you want at 2600 yen for a man and 2100 yen for a woman.
The hiking course starts at Kencyo-mae station in the Kobe subway line. We go up to Shisyo-yama and Ikari-yama which have Kobe city mark and anchor shape illuminations on the top of the mountains. Of course they have a great view of Kobe area from the top. After reaching the top, we head for Futatabi park, then go down to Sannomiya to enjoy the beer!
Since the happy hour time is very popular, I made a reservation (16:30-18:30) for 10 people. I post this hike in other place too. First come, first served!
Walking time is about 4-5 hours.
