80's Rhein Cruise

My first meet-up was a Rhein Cruise and it's a wonderful way to celebrate the end of summer. The 80's party is open to all ages and totally fun. For non-dancers, one half of the ship is free to enjoy the Rhein cruise and to take in the fresh air.

Tickets can be purchased at the KD box office between Heumarkt and Dom on the Rhein. They can purchased online at koelnticket.de. The total cost is 22 euros. Most cruises sell out in advance, so buy the ticket at least one day in advance. Since this might not meet everyone's budget, we will be hosting an other event very soon.

Boarding time is at 7:30 and the ship sails at 8:00. Let's meet behind the KD box office near the grass area. I will be the one wearing a wild outfit and holding up a sign.

We hope to see you!

Louisa

    Hi Guys,

I bought my ticket yesterday at the box office and they said there were about 80 tickets left. You should still be able to buy one tomorrow, if you are there around 6pm, but there are no guarantees. For the meeting point, let's meet to the right of the KD box office, because there is some construction near there. We will board the ship at the same place. I look forward to a fun night of 80's music and dancing!

    Cheers,
    Louisa

Hello Louisa,I am interested in this Rhein cruise.Hopefully I should join for this meetup if I dont travel to faraway places for customer visits.Regarding the tickets, will it be possible to buy it on the day or should I book one day in advance. What is the plan like in the cruise.I presume 22 Euros is only for entry into the cruise and food and beverages are extra. Please let me know. Thanks,Balaji G.

Hi, I would recommend buying the ticket one or two days in advance. I have gone in the past to buy tickets for people and they were sold out. We would love to see you, if you are in town. As you suspect, food and drinks are extra. They do serve sandwiches and different types of drinks for a decent price.
