    **********************************************

ATTENTION: In order to overcome the difficulties in securing a good place for the Workshop, we apply a mandatory minimum consumption of $2.00 for a drink and a snack. This will be collected at the entrance as you come and register while paying the event fees ($1.00) or membership fees ($5.00). Therefore, the total payment will be either $3.00 (existing members or guests) or $7.00 (new members).

The Linguistic Exchange Workshop will start at 2:15 PM. Please come a few minutes earlier so that we can start on time.

    Hi everyone,

Branching out from our regular gathering, the Linguistic Exchange Workshop (LEW) is a workshop uniquely dedicated to a linguistic exchange between Korean and French/English. In order for us to organize it better, those who want to practice Korean as well as French need to indicate their choice of group (A, B or C) as indicated below in your RSVP. For those who want to practice English, it is a free style conversation without any distinction of level.

    How LEW is conducted:

    1. For the 1st hour - practice English or French

    1) English: Free style conversation with any subject chosen by participants (No material required)

    2) French: there will be 3 groups according to your level (A, B or C)

    ① Group A (Alphabet) for those who are learning French alphabet for the first time or to familiarize yourself with it and its pronunciation;

★★ Click here to print the French (Group A) ★★

② Group B (Beginner) for those who are learning and practicing basic vocabulary and simple expressions according to the subject (ex. numbers, greetings, family relational terminology, courtesy, etc.

★★ Click here to print the French (Group B) ★★

③ Group C (Conversation) for those who want to practice French and to speak more fluently (free style conversation)

    2. Break time (15 minutes)

You want to have a drink and a snack at the counter exchanging your chip that you’ve received at the entrance since you practiced hard for an hour! And of course, you can chat with your friends in any language you want!

    3. For the 2nd hour – Korean practice

① Group A: for those who learn Hangeul (Korean alphabet) for the first time or to familiarize yourself with it

★★ Click here to print the Korean (Group A) ★★

② Group B: for those who learn and practice basic vocabulary and simple expressions according to the subject (ex. numbers, greetings, family relational terminology, courtesy, etc.)

★★ Click here to print the Korean (Group B) ★★

③ Group C: for those who practice Korean to speak more fluently (free style conversation)

Although some would speak Korean more fluently than others, we will go along with your rhythm. For those who do not speak Korean, we will try it on a one-on-one (or two-on-one) basis depending on the linguistic profile of the participating members.

Have a good day and see you at the Workshop!
