Wondering what the lightning network is all about? Struggling to understand how Bitcoin can scale through second-layer solutions? Want an update on the current state of development on the lightning network? Want some free beer?
Well, then you are very welcome to this year's final Kraków Bitcoin Meetup at the Forklog coworking space! At this meetup, Arash Rezvani from Forklog will give an introduction to the lightning network and go through the basics of how to run a lightning node. Then we will open up for a discussion about topics such as the pros and cons of second-layer scaling, common criticisms from the BCH community etc.
At the end we will stay to network and chat over a few beers (which will be on us since we're not meeting at a bar this time).
The Forklog coworking space is on the first floor (second level) at Zyblikiewicza 10/4. If it is not open, call the number 4 and we will open up!
See you on Thursday 13th at 6pm and merry Christmas!
The Kraków Bitcoin Meetup is an initiative for Bitcoin enthusiasts in the city of Krakow, Poland, organized by BitSpace. The event is held frequently and aims to connect the brightest local crypto minds together. It also aims to provide educational value through presentations and workshops for people who want to learn more about Bitcoin. Even though this event is primarily about Bitcoin, you are of course permitted to mention other cryptocurrencies :)
The events are free of charge, and there are no knowledge requirements for you to participate. Come and learn!
Please invite other people who might be interested in attending.
