What an awesome meetup! Harrington the serial presentation was very informative and Brian's "show and tell" about his bionic arm was incredible. I really learned a lot and both presentation were very informative and interesting. The Sketch-up demo was just icing on the cake. I told Jason and some others about Jeremy Blum's book "Exploring Arduino" available from Amazon both hard cover and Kindle. I like the Kindle version, because I can read it on all my devices and the graphics are in color and I can zoom in. I forgot to mention all the sketches are available on line and there are You Tube videos available for all or most of the tutorials.

A great ang very inspiring Meetup with some new ideas about using serial ports with other languages, an introduction to Sketchup design software and an awesome robotic arm by Brian Matthews. I was riding high for hours after that meeting… Thanks gang! Made my first Arduino Meetup something I will want to attend again!

I am sorry that I can't join you tonight. I have a cold and don't want to infect others. I hope to join you at your next meeting.
    Peace,
