What's your favorite restaurant in LA?
Providence- I love the ambiance, the service, the cocktails, and of course, the seafood. It's just got everything going for it and I'm always really happy after a meal there.
What's your favorite restaurant outside of LA?
Raku in LV. My latest amazing find. I love their foie gras chawanmushi!
What is your most memorable food moment?
Eating at my first 3 michelin star restaurant- Arzak in San Sebastian, Spain. It really opened my mind to modernist food in big way.
What is the thing you want to eat before you die?
Something my mom made. Probably one of her northern chinese stews. Or maybe a signature Sichuanese dish from my grandmother.
Do you like to cook?
I love to cook! Trying to learn how to can, preserve, as well as cure meats.
