AR, VR You Know I Had My Share

While we won't be doing Led Zeppelin songs we will be dealing with some of the Realities of Visualization.

-as in the (supposedly) actual one, as well as the Augmented and Virtual typologies will be explored and available for test-runs by YOU (well you, if you're there ;)

Joe Mendez, this month's host, is going to expand on our previous introductions to Enscape, by presenting the When's, Why's and How's of Revit and Enscape workflows.

Joe will also be setting LARUG up with some AR and VR tech, for us to sample, so bring your vision and we'll see you Wednesday, July 20th, 2016, 6pm in DTLA.

[Edit[masked]: Bring your models to play in the Enscape sandbox we will have!!! Joe is providing a machine to allow us to see what these AR, VR, R(eal)R's can do with models we know :) End Edit]

Thanks to RTKL, USCAD, Microdesk, Kelar Pacific and YOU!

I really liked the presentation I was just wondering if you could put a miniature wireframe or xray view (like in the film Deja Vu) model of the building the viewer is walking through perhaps below the viewer where his body would be or floating just to the north of the viewer to help with his orientation and direction through the structure. Or perhaps, put hovering info kiosks or a Star Trek T.N.G. Holodeck “Arch” in the simulation to serve the same purpose. Or even have the avatar sims that are already walking around the place also act as property managers and information adviser ambassador guides.

Roger, that would fall under "development request" to the individual software vendors. Contact Enscape3D & Lumion3D & Revizto, etc. for that. We don't make the software.

Thanks, and please feel free to offer that or any other suggestions also. Its easy to get lost in these locations.
