Naturalist Bob Dollins leads this leisurely walk through the native plant gardens and trails that surrounds the Nature Center and into the nearby wild areas. The walk is different each time — what's leafing out, flowering, in seed, etc., determines what your lead will talk about — and different leaders bring different points of view.

NOTE: The primary purpose of this walk is to inform people about the native plants growing around the Nature Center and nearby riverbed area. In addition, any animal life (bird, reptile, amphibian or mammal) that we may encounter will be identified. If you are just looking for a through hike to the EC Waterfall, this event is not for you.

Meet in front of Eaton Canyon Nature Center at 9:00 a.m. Eaton Canyon Plant walks are held on the second Sunday of each month except July and August.

Depending on weather conditions, wear the appropriate outerwear, especially sturdy shoes/hiking boots, water and snack, brimmed hat. A few days before the walk, I will post predicted weather conditions for Sunday, March 13th.
