Harrod's Creek

Had a nice paddle up Harrod's last evening. Made it up to the heron rookery and saw lots of wildlife on the way. Just enough water at the riffle to paddle through with out scraping. The water up there was nice and cool and fairly clear, and the fishing was outstanding. 4.5 stars--.5 star deduction because I had to paddle back.

Quiet paddle with my wife Saturday morning on 5/23/15.
Tried putting in at Captains Quarters, but new owners of the ramp charge double ($10 PER BOAT) on weekends. Homey don't pay that!

Went instead to the old RCCK ramp just past Cunninhams on the Creek. There's a place called Dark Star on the Water there now and paid the guy there $5 a boat.

Was surprised to see the bridge being built over Harrods Creek for the East End project was so massive! Otherwise, the creek was a nice paddle.
