Name at least three of your favorite cuisines

In no particular order: Turkish, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, East European, Mexican, Polynesian, Greek, Italian, Spanish, French...

What is your favorite vacation spot?

Describe the most memorable meal you've ever had

Villa Santa Maria, Gioisa Ionica, Calabria, Italy: several weeks of tantalizing and ever changing 4 course dinners. Some favorites: a seafood dish with beans and garden-grown chard, a hand-rolled pasta with a spicy eggplant and swordfish sauce...

What is your cooking level? Beginner, intermediate, advanced, professional, etc... and which type of cuisine is your specialty?

Ιntermediate to advanced; vegetarian, Greek, Mediterranean; I love to mix cuisines and flavors; notorious for experimentation, like making deserts from vegetables...

Please tell the group a little bit about your interest in food and cooking

I've found myself living all over the globe. I learned early on to take advantage of seasonal fresh food, to respect local cuisines, and to introduce new flavors to my repetoire.

Cooking is my passion. I consider the kitchen to be the heart of the home, and I make a huge effort to make sure that our "heart" is always full of enticing aromas, playful palettes, and culinary adventure.
