Italian, Japanese, French and great American food.
Went to Paris a couple of years ago, c'est manifique.
Ate at La Tour D'argent in Paris (I thought I died and went to heaven). Another meal was at Foundry on Melrose, I can still taste the tuna tartare and filet.
I would have to put myself at beginner, even though I have put some good meals together. I lack the confidence to just go with it and see what happens. I am hoping to get some that oomph to try new things. I don't have a cuisine specialty, but I want to learn.
I never thought of it as an "interest," just the fact that I love to eat good food. I took a few cooking classes in the past, but it was making one specific item, like gnocchi (which I love). I live alone and the thought of what will I have today is always running through my mind. I don't eat frozen dinners or fast food at the answer usually is "I'll just make a salad, it's the quickest way to feed myself". If I had more confidence, I'd love to just whip up" something the way the Iron Chefs do.
Hello, my name is Eva and I love food and French. I'm not the best of cooks, but I know good food when I taste it. I also love French and, at one time, was able to speak it fluently. I'd love to get it back. Ce groupe sera bon pour moi.
