As a car collector it was interesting to see the variety of old cars in the images.  The first car that seemed to be following the photographer was a 1941 Lincoln sedan and the last one a 1947 Mercury sedan.  There did not appear to be any vehicles newer than 1947 so I would date that great series of photos as that date.  Thanks for sharing it with us.  That was the year that I got my drivers license and the film was typical of Los Angeles in that era.

I am not sure who has or who has not seen the following video clip, but I thought I would share with all of you this really amazing Youtube clip, especially if you have not seen it.  While driving through the streets of Bunker Hill in downtown LA in the 1940's, someone shot shot some film footage. It is an image of LA that no longer exists.
