  • This is a tentative date for our next workshop. I figured it would be easiest to skip December as I'm sure many of us will be busy with holiday plans. The entire month of January is open for me so if this date doesn't work for everyone and you guys have suggestions for a better day, please let me know.

The meeting time and place will remain the same as it seems to work best for everyone. As for this month's prompt, I feel like it is only appropriate to write a political piece. Now some of you may not be big fans of politics, but these past elections have affected all of us in some way. I think we can take this opportunity to write how we really feel. It can be a short piece of fiction, prose, poetry, a journalistic paragraph, or whatever you feel like. Write from your emotions, your anger, your outrage, your shock, your sorrow. This can be a very strong piece and may be personal for some, but the key is to write what you feel. It doesn't have to be too personal if you don't want to open up, but even a small piece of fiction can work.

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season and I look forward to seeing you guys at the next workshop! :)

If the final date is January 29th, I won't be able to go. I'm chaperoning a school trip from the 23rd to the 3rd. But don't change for me, I'll just have to make sure I can make it to the next one!

I'm working that Sunday. That's the only Sunday in January that I'm working though, so if you are able to change it I could come. But if it's good for everybody else I understand.

I can definitely move it to the following Sunday or the last Sunday of the month if that's easier. I'll go ahead and change it and see if that works for everyone!
