  Beautiful picture, as well as several great pictures you took. You have great eye of color and beauty, also good skill, which motivated me to improve my own skill now. I have been too lazy. ;)

  Thanks very much, Min & Art. I’ve been quite lazy in shooting anything worthwhile for a long time before this month IMO. But I finally made good use of my Bogen tripod Friday night at (2) different non-meetup photo ops (after being stored in my trunk for over a decade – I am much older than I look) and it literally forced me to re-focus on all the techniques required to get the perfect DOF/exposure/composition...try it & you'll see! Esp. for night photos w/ light trails or anything posed. It will improve your techniques even in street photography that doesn't require a tripod. You’ll get to know your equipment better so it becomes almost intuitive the next time you use your current gear for some weird reason. Get a decent one though and learn to lock up your mirrors/use self-timer/bracket et al - it'll change the way you shoot drastically!
