What we’re about
Formed in June 2006, LAWS is all about people who happen to be women! We meet to talk, laugh, exchange ideas and enjoy various social activities. We hope you will join us as well as our affiliated group LAWS WALKS where we list our walking events. You will find LAWS WALKS here: http://walkers.meetup.com/684/
You need not be a member of LAWS to join LAWS WALKS and vice versa but, of course, we'd love to see you in both groups. The only prerequisite for joining LAWS is posting your picture on our site. If for some reason, that's a problem for you (or you don't know how), email me and we'll work it out.
Join us!

and of course, Goodread has a lot of readers' reviews.I choose a book (or I used to ask my friend Sarita to let me know what she was reading) for Black History Month every year since we have this book discussion group. This year, I got excited about 'Killers of the Flower Moon' so we are doing my version of celebrating Black History Month in April. This read is in honor of Sarita. I think she would have liked this book and she would forgive me for slipping.
Please join me -- we may conduct this in person. Not sure yet. Please sign up with that in mind.
Attendance rules apply.
