Come out for drag performances by Diane Torr, Shelly Mars and more. Diane Torr will also read and discuss her book ?Sex, Drag and Male Roles: Investigating Gender as Performance,? which blends critical, creative and personal investigations about drag kings and the performance of masculinity. The book provocatively and engagingly explores sex and gender narratives. Diane started performing in the 1970?s, was involved in the founding of the WOW Cafe, and pioneered drag king workshops at Annie Sprinkle?s salon in 1990.

Performance begins at 7PM.
