What we're about

Even before the availability of marriage the LGBT community has unique problems dealing with the loss of a partner/spouse. Most support groups are directed to the straight community. Many people still do not appreciate that we suffer and have many of the same problems they do with a loss. Legal problems still exist and the prospect of finding someone new when older is more of a challenge. This group is both for recently widow(er)ed and those whose loss has been a while ago. The aim is to provide strength, direction and hope for all involved.

When I started this group, I started with the basic of 50 members, we are now getting to that limit and I have increased the number of members to unlimited beginning May 19, 2019. If you have tried to join and couldn't please try again after May 19, 2019.
