We are excited to announce our next LGBTQ+ art gallery event!
From 6 - 8pm on Thursday 28th March we’d love for you to join us for our LGBTQ+ Culture Club private art gallery viewing in Soho.
This month it will be the final private viewing of the exhibition of the Royal Society of British Artists before it comes to an end on March 31st. The exhibition includes some of the most sought-after and well-respected artists in the country including sculptures, paintings, and etchings by David Sawyer, Meg Dutton, Carole Griffin, and David Brammeld among many others.
The Royal Society of British Artists, founded in 1823 and granted Royal status under James McNeill Whistler in 1887, is an organisation of artists that is meant to support and advise artists as well as keep the country at the forefront of artistic development and creation. Like the Royal Academy, admission to the RBA is based on acceptance into several RBA exhibitions, selection by the Membership Committee, and a ballot by the current members.
This event is designed to bring together a culture-loving group of queer-identifying folks for an evening of art, bubbly, and good company.
You’ll receive complimentary prosecco whilst exploring the gallery at your leisure. As ever it's free of charge; just come along, meet great people, and enjoy yourselves at this exhibition of beautiful and interesting artworks.
You can find the event at M1 Fine Art, 80 Charing Cross Road, WC2H 0BF. Located on the corner of Charing Cross Road and Litchfield Street (the same road as the Ivy -very easy to find.) The nearest stations are Leicester Square - 2 mins and Tottenham Court Road - 5 mins.
• What to bring
