Pre-Screening of, "Two Who Dared: The Sharps' War"

In honor of the National Day of Reason we are celebrating those that have fought for education. And who doesn't want to celebrate those people?

For with education we gain knowledge; then we gain reason, which (fingers crossed) leads to upheld human rights.

So please come and join us for a pre-screening of the film, "Two Who Dared: the sharps' war" http://www.twowhodared.com/film/

This is a story about a Unitarian minister and his wife who helped get education to people in Prague during the Nazi era. A beautiful story.

Please feel free to bring a potluck dish to share, or just your smile.

Friends are welcome.

If you would like to bring something to share please tell here! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ArZRO3UR-D6rdG54NXF6RzJYQWRsb1l6ZTlvTkRycXc#gid=0

I think that we did very well even with the small turn out. We hope to show the complete film at the Enoch Pratt Library and maybe even another place! Education is very important and we will continue to commend those who help spread it. What happened in the Nazi era was horrific but we can all learn from it and come together to make our world good for all of us with or without the assistance of a higher power.
