A monthly meetup in London to discuss books and film, over a coffee or drink, at the Southbank. We will have a common theme of identifying as female and somewhere on the rainbow as LGBTQI... But our interests in film and literature will likely vary greatly, allowing opportunity for discussion, debate and debacle!...

Meetups will take place on the third Tuesday of every calendar month.

A book list will be built on over time and the group vote on the novel to read 2 months upfront (allowing plenty of time to finish!). We will select films to watch together and have the discussion directly after.

Keen readers and film buffs just as welcome as those who don't get much chance to turn a page or catch a movie. Themes will generally be about women, women's issues or the lgbt genre but this is by no means exclusive.

This is a great opportunity to read a book or watch a film that you may not usually consider, conversing in a social setting with like minded or very different women who enjoy a good debate! <br>

The Southbank is easily accessible from Waterloo train and underground stations, as well as by foot from many central London locations.

To enable us to build a great community please treat any meetups you sign up to as if you were meeting a friend; unless you have an emergency (sometimes life gets under your feet!), make sure to turn up on time and give plenty of notice if you are unable to attend. The first meetup I ever attended was an eye opener - the organiser didn't show up! I give you my commitment to arriving on time, being reachable if you need to get in contact and delivering on my promises. Please be kind and give me the same in return.
