Join our Outdoor Discovery Schools instructor and members of Catamount Family Outdoor Center on the wonderful winter trails surrounding this historical property, which was once home to Vermont's first governor, Giles Chittenden.

WHERE TO MEET: Catamount Family Outdoor Center. Take I-89 S to VT-2A N in Williston. Take exit 12 from I-89 South to Exit 12; use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto VT-2A North. Travel .8 miles, turn right on US Rte. 2 East, travel 2.3 miles Travel 1.6 miles to N. Williston Rd, turn left on N. Williston Rd. and travel 1 mile to Governor Chittenden Rd. Turn right on Governor Chittenden Rd. and travel .6 miles to destination.
WHAT TO BRING: weather-appropriate clothing (layers; no cotton), snowshoes (if snow) or waterproof footwear, GPS unit or iPhone with geocaching app, field notes or journal, small day pack with extra clothes, snacks, water, personal medications.
