This beginner friendly hike will follow parts of the white blazed appalacian trail to Ten Mile Hill. As of yesterday (February 24th) the uphill trail was covered with mostly packed snow. Snowshoes are reccomended, but that may change as we approach the weekend. Micro-spikes or other traction may be sufficiaent.
The trip is a 2+ mile round-trip.

What to Bring on our hike:
water (at least 32oz aka 1000ml aka 1 reg nalgene)
rain gear (waterproof jacket & pants)
non-cotton weather appropriate active apparel (think lots of layers; no cotton clothing, especially jeans!)
Hiking boots/shoes & gators
Microspikes and/or snowshoes (we'll decide at trailhead if needed)
Trekking Poles or hiking stick
Positive Attitude and a smile
